Scope of the session: Alternative methods for integrated assessment of agricultural systems and related sectors to assess policy impacts in the field of sustainable and rural development. Model-based techniques such as quantitative sector accounting and optimisation methods, qualitative Baysian networks, agent-based systems, integrated meta-modelling and generic model frameworks for policy decision support will be presented.
