Title:                             Software infrastructures and tools for integrated assessments

Scope of the session: Model based integrated assessment studies are demanding both from a scientific point of view, requiring the integration of knowledge from various disciplines, and also from the perspective of the software infrastructure and tools needed to support these integrated assessments. This session aims to review, assess, demonstrate and discuss software solutions to support integrated assessment. In particular, we invite contributions addressing aspects of software technologies and information management:e.g. (geo)databases, knowledge management systems and ontologiy, graphical user interfaces, scientific work flow management, advanced visualisation tools, modelling and simulation frameworks, grid computing, GIS and spatial scaling..
